If you have a direct mail (offline) database that lacks customer's email addresses and you would like to collect email addresses from your customers without creating a separate email (online) database, this module is appropriate.
Here's how it works:
- Step 1: Direct mail database is imported into DirectContact®
- Step 2: A unique identifier is created for each customer record (e.g. "AZ84X")
- Step 3: A unique signup page is created that asks customers for their unique identifier and an email address
- Step 4: Direct mail postcards are sent inviting or incentivizing customers to come online and provide their email address
- Step 5: Customers come online and provide their email address with unique identifier printed on their postcard
- Step 6: DirectContact® automatically matches unique identifier with an existing record and updates an email address for that record
